ADITE™ Diamond ID Test Tools
ADITE™ Diamond Identification Test Tools
The Most Reliable & Accurate Test Results
The ADITE™ Diamond ID Test Tool will scratch or groove any known Diamond substitute, fake, imitation or natural gem look-alike. It will not scratch, groove or damage Diamonds, when used correctly*. “Adite Crystals” are softer than Diamonds (#10 on Mohs scale of hardness) but harder than any other known gemstone material (natural or synthetic). NO scratch or groove will appear on a Diamond (natural or synthetic – synthetic man made diamonds [lab grown] have the same elemental hardness as natural diamonds). Adite™ is an extremely rare substance (far less of it exists on earth than diamonds) and is rarely seen in sizes over 0.0025ct.
* Through improper use, a person could conceivably cleave a diamond’s edge (but that could be done with an iron implement as well).
The Adite™ DIAMOND ID Test Tool is clearly the wisest business choice, as well as, the most PRACTICAL and EASIEST to use for these scientific reasons:
- Accuracy (no other diamond tester even comes close)
- Non-Electrical
- Non-Breakable
- Portable (smaller than a pen)
- Works in all conditions (wet, dry, oily or dirty)
- Diamond Hardness is the foundation for the “Adite™ Test”. Test results are not based on thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, refractive index, specific gravity, caustic chemical reaction or experienced visual analysis.
- The Adite™ Diamond Tester is also the Least Expensive compared to any other type or brand available.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Rub the knife edge of the Adite™ Tool gently a few times in the same spot on the girdle or on any place of the item being tested. Then examine that spot under magnification. If there is no scratch, groove, or abrasion, it is a Diamond. Be careful not to ruin the test object, even if it is not a Diamond, by excessive pressure. After a little experience you can tell immediately from the feel and even the sound of the tool on the object whether it is a Diamond or not. If you attempt to scratch a real diamond using more than a few ounces of pressure over and over again you may damage the crystals of the Adite DIAMOND ID Test Tool. Very little pressure is necessary for the testing procedure. Also note that excessive pressure could conceivably make a small cleavage mark (but never a scratch) on a diamond. Although this is extremely unlikely, one should take care when using the Adite DIAMOND ID Test Tool. This is such an easy test to perform that virtually within minutes you will be an expert in determining the difference between Diamonds (Cut & Polished or Rough Diamonds) and Non-Diamonds.
