Description

The ADITE™ Diamond ID Test Tool will scratch or groove any known Diamond substitute, fake, imitation or natural gem look-alike. It will not scratch, groove or damage Diamonds, when used correctly*. “Adite™ Crystals” are softer than Diamonds (#10 on Mohs scale of hardness) but harder than any other known gemstone material (natural or synthetic). NO scratch or groove will appear on a Diamond (natural or synthetic – synthetic man made diamonds [lab grown] have the same elemental hardness as natural diamonds). Adite™ is an extremely rare substance (far less of it exists on earth than diamonds) and is rarely seen in sizes over 0.0025ct.

* Through improper use, a person could conceivably cleave a diamond’s edge (but that could be done with an iron implement as well).

Jeweler’s Model Set (medium usage)
